Students across the college have been celebrating this year as results have improved again at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level.
KS3
At Key Stage 3, English, maths and science all achieved their best ever results for students gaining level 5 or above, with record numbers of students being awarded level 7.

GCSE
GCSE saw a 7.5% increase on last year’s results for pupils achieving 5A*-C, including 65% of students gaining at least a grade C in English and 76% in citizenship.
There were some excellent individual performances, with Clare Bagley gaining 6.5 GCSEs at A* and 2.5 at grade A, Michael Duvall with 3A*s and 6As, and Adam Brazil, Corette Nel and Amy Ranahan all achieving 8A*s or As.
Overall, our students were awarded a fantastic 29A* grades and 98 As.

Results also improved at A level, with average points score per entry rising to 187. There were many outstanding performances and our students were very successful in obtaining the grades they needed for their university places.
